Play Old Games on Windows Vista

After posting about "Update Blog Otomatis ke Twitter, Facebook dan mybloglog", now I wanna share you about How to Play Old Games on Windows Vista. For an Example a choose Aladdin game (made in 1994), I get it from http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/aladdin/ . Extract Aladdin games archive to folder c:\aladdin

How to Play Old Games on Windows Vista?

Okay, I will show U step by step :

1. Download Tools Virtual DOS called DOSBox here, http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1
2. Install DOSBox0.73-win32-installer.exe
3. run DOSBox0.73
4. mount path of old games, type : mount c c:\aladdin , after success mounting, just goto c:\aladdin




















5. type install c:\aladdin\









































6. now, set for soundcard, just type setsnd in folder "c:\aladdin", I used soundblaster 16, so I type: 4 and enter all, until this message appear "The sound configuration file has been created"










































7. Even not practical at all but at least we can playing it, just Execute aladdin ( type aladdin and press enter )

space bar = jump
arrow = move
ctrl = swing sword
alt =throw
esc + y = quit
